Brexit: Be prepared for future trade

As the transition period for Brexit comes to an end on 31st December supply chains will see many new restrictions in trade between the United Kingdom and EU.
Depending on the outcome of the final Brexit negotiations we may see considerably longer lead times for shipments to customers, additional costs for processing of customs documentation and quality and safety checks for goods at the borders.
Initially the UK Government withdrew customs easements such as Transitional Simplified Procedures (TSP) and Post VAT Accounting (PVA).
After reconsideration these may be re-instated to avoid chaos in the New Year.
