LGI Executive Board Sees Change Following Spin Off Of Pakadoo

Following pakadoo’s spin-off in December as an independent company, Markus Ziegler is now leaving the Executive Board after nearly 22 years. Patrick Lindig, managing director of the LGI subsidiary ITG GmbH, is joining the board’s ranks as its new member. “For one thing, Patrick already knows LGI, having served as a former managing director of international operations, among other roles. In addition to that, he will be bringing the perspective of our growing Fashion & Lifestyle sector to the Executive Board,” CEO Andreas Bunz said.

“We are extremely grateful to Markus for all of his hard work and many efforts in various management positions at LGI over the years,” Bunz added. Ziegler is looking forward to the challenges ahead. “We have already achieved a great deal in recent years, but there is still a lot to do,” the new CEO of pakadoo GmbH said. “Together with my highly motivated team and our shareholders Verso Ventures and LGI, we are going to accelerate growth of the pakadoo point network at companies and in the public sphere tremendously.” pakadoo was spun off as an independent German limited liability company (GmbH) in December 2018.

Lindig becomes new member of the Executive Board

As a new member of the Executive Board, Lindig is bringing the Fashion & Lifestyle perspective to the body. Prior to his appointment, Lindig was employed as a managing director of international operations at LGI, among other positions. “I am looking forward to contributing my ideas immediately to the LGI Group’s Executive Board,” Lindig said.

Ziegler played a role early on in shaping LGI’s development

In 1996, Ziegler, who earned a degree in computer science, took over the position of CIO at the logistics provider, which was a young company at the time. Starting out as the head of the IT department, the 54-year-old would later go on to oversee Business Development, Marketing and LGI’s Electronics division. Ziegler also served as the managing director of a number of LGI subsidiaries, both in Germany and abroad, and has been a member of LGI’s Executive Board since 2011.
