LGI subsidiary company ITG wins quality award
HERRENBERG/MÜNCHEN (Germany). ITG Internationale Spedition + Logistik GmbH, a subsidiary company of LGI, has been doubly honored with the Lufthansa Cargo Quality Award. ITG achieved top place in both categories, “Quality” and “Quality and eCargo”. Following a victory in 2013 and a second place in 2014, ITG was able to defend its title from last year in the “Quality” category.

Our thanks are above all due to the teams on the ground whose conscientious work makes a valuable contribution on a daily basis, not just in terms of keeping the customers happy, but also in terms of working together with the airlines in an optimal manner. It is this level of interaction in the transportation chain that leads to the best results,” said Holger Funk, CEO for Haulage at ITG.
Lufthansa Cargo accredits two client groups, “Top 40” and “Haulers with more than 10,000 air waybills” in three respective categories. In the “Quality” category, various parameters for the maintenance of the scope and punctuality of the delivery are evaluated. The “eCargo Award” introduced in 2014, recognizes the rapid expansion of digital processes between haulers and airlines. The key to being awarded the “Quality and eCargo” award is having the best combined service.
